From DMYFS Early Childhood Coordinator:
Hello! My name is Alyssa Lederman and I am so excited to join the Durham Middlefield Youth and Family Services team as the Early Childhood Coordinator. I spent 10 years working in underserved schools throughout the United States with a focus in Early Childhood and Special Education. I have an M.S. Ed. through Johns Hopkins University and completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Puget Sound where I majored in Psychology. I have a strong background in equity and inclusion that I am excited to incorporate into this role. In addition to programming, I lead the Durham/Middlefield Early Childhood Council, where I meet with key stakeholders in the area to obtain a better sense of community needs. I am so excited to be a part of this incredible community and I look forward to meeting you!
