Committed to Our Community. Motivated by Our Mission.

The mission of Durham Middlefield Youth & Family Services is to empower children and families, foster a healthy community, and build resilience by decreasing risk factors and increasing protective factors through prevention, intervention, treatment, and community-building strategies.
Durham Middlefield Youth and Family Services (DMYFS) offers a variety of programs for residents of Durham, Middlefield, and Rockfall, CT. Our programs provide youth with opportunities to explore their creativity, develop leadership skills, and engage in meaningful activities. We also provide a safe, judgment-free space where youth and families can grow and thrive together.

Some of our offerings include: mental health panel discussions, parent education workshops, fun nights for middle schoolers, Safe Sitter® classes, First Aid/CPR courses, and much more!

Your Voice Matters: Help Shape Community Well-Being

We're conducting a short, confidential survey to better understand what supports mental health and well-being in our community. Your input will help guide local prevention efforts, improve access to resources, and make sure support systems reflect what our community truly needs.
Whether you're a young person, adult, parent, educator, or resident—we want to hear from you.
The survey is completely anonymous, and your honest feedback will go a long way in helping us build a healthier, more connected community.
