You can make a difference
We have many activities that require volunteer help to make them work. Some of these activities are: Taking a shift at the Apple Crisp Booth at the Durham Fair, chaperone a Friday night 5th/6th grade dance, or become an assistant at one of the many after school clubs. There is always clerical work such as filing, typing, and answering the phone that would make it easier for us to design and deliver more programs!
DMYFS is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt, charitable organization as defined under the Internal Revenue Service code section 501c(3). DMYFS is deeply indebted to individual donors for their financial assistance and support. If you are interested in making a financial donation, please contact us. Think of DMYFS when you are doing your Estate Planning. A strong Endowment program means a strong future for Durham Middlefield Youth and family Services for years to come.
Everyone has a talent to share, it might be gardening, cooking, yoga, painting, woodworking, photography, fiber arts, or scrap booking. We are always looking for volunteers to share their talent with the youth in our community. Maybe your talent is writing, we are researching grant opportunities all the time or how about helping write the DMYFS quarterly newsletter. Maybe you are a great event planner; we could use your expertise at our next fund raising event. Join us, there is something for everyone!
